Disability Support Program
There are more than 1.5 million people with disabilities out of an estimated total 29.8.5 million population. According to a survey conducted in 2005 in Afghanistan, there is one disable person in each 05 families Thousands of Afghans people including men and women and children have become disabled by landmines and various infectious diseases. Most of the persons with disabilities have no access to education, health facilities, and employment opportunities
The Foundation serves the people with disabilities by
- Involving persons with disabilities in local and national decision-making.
- Finding employment opportunities for them
- Establishing special educational and training and skill development and health centers for persons with disabilities
- Providing them, wheel chairs and other necessities of life.
