Qurbani
Qurbani is offered at Eid-ul -Adha to show gratitude towards Allah swt and to assist the poor. Being among the poorest of the countries, the people of Afghanistan are not able to carry out this religious ritual as Muslims around the globe do. In this way these people are not only deprived of the rituals but have no means of eating meat throughout the year and enjoying the event.
Assalam Welfare Foundation arranges collective sacrificial events on behalf individual donors and organizations in different parts of Afghanistan. It arranges the event according to the donor’s choices (Cows, sheep, goats etc) and provides the meat to real disadvantaged families. The organization therefore appeals the individual donor charitable agencies to use this platform to assist the poor families and share with them the joys of Eid
